Lupus Warrior, Blooming In Purple Hues
Since being diagnosed with Lupus in 2018, life has been a roller coaster to say the least - yet I still rise above fatigue, brain fog, and pain.
May is Lupus Awareness Month, and I’m not on the sidelines learning about it secondhand.
I’m living it.
Some days my body whispers.
Other days, it demands that I slow down.
But in between it all - I’m a mother. A wife. A business owner. I’m still creating. Still showing up. I may have Lupus, but Lupus doesn’t have me 💜💜 God’s plan is still at work (Jeremiah 29:11).
At first, slowing down felt like failure. But listening to your body when fatigue hits doesn’t mean you’re lazy, it means you’re honoring what you need. Give yourself grace and be grateful you made it to see another day.
To honor myself, and every Lupus Warrior - I created these tulips.🌷
{Fun Fact: Purple has always been one of my favorite colors đź’ś}
They’re a reminder that I’m always blooming, even in the quiet, even in the hard.
Whether you’re a fellow #LupusWarrior or someone pushing through a difficult season - no matter what it looks like on the outside - this is for you:
Keep rising.
Keep trusting your pace.
Keep blooming.
And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28 (NIV)
If this spoke to you, or you’re walking a similar journey…..This one is for you.
