THE ORIGINAL GIRLFRIENDS
When your best friends have the same blood running through their veins --- it's a different kind of love!
I was so happy that I was finally able to have some in person time with my sisters + a virtual call with the one out of state.
We did a late brunch with laughs and light drinks! Yes, we did the frosè ( make yours, find out here ) too.
On the MENU --
My favorite Belgium Waffle Recipe --- found here
Another cooked French Toast, Turkey Bacon, and Maple Chicken Sausage !
One of the highlights was Sampling Mary J's Pinot Grigio -- I'm usually not a fan of Pinot Grigio, but this one I can definitely have again. It's called a dry wine, but honestly it's not as dry as I expected. We've decided to now have one wine to sample at our next girls brunch -- after all we'll be wine connoisseurs before we know it!
One sister cooked an egg dish (omg, I need to try this recipe again) + a Brazilian carrot cake w/a pinch of rum both inspired by @colorfulfoodie
And the oldest took it back with grandma's favorite Fried Apples (y'all know I'm not an apple girl, so she made me a pear version )
