They use to tell us when we were younger that we could be who ever we wanted when we grew up. Even though there were people that looked like me in high places, it was far in between.

As of 2008 that did change once we elected the first black president into office. And now yesterday!!! Seeing a woman holding the second highest form of office in America --- and a black woman at that, dreams do come true.
